Do you know your kingdom worth?

“Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee. And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake. And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.” Genesis 30:26-28 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/gen.30.26-28.kjv

Do you know your kingdom worth?

In the Bible reading today, even after having so many children from his wives and working for Laban for so many years, Jacob needed Laban’s permission to leave with his family so that he can start to provide for them. At this point Laban acknowledges the great benefits of God’s blessings from Jacob in his home then asks to pay a wage. So it begets the question: if he knew the importance of Jacob in his life, why was he not already paying him and showering him with blessings earlier? Feels like the case of individuals who slave for organizations and it’s only at the point where they want to leave that they are truly acknowledged and given all sorts of offers of Salary raises to lure them to stay. Are there similar issues in your life where you are in servitude because you have not recognized your worth or have refused to take your place. When the prodigal son came to his senses, he had a better appreciation of his environment but more importantly his worth which had somewhat been diminished over the years due to the circumstances in which he walked into. Do you recognize your kingdom rights today? Are you demanding them? Are you in the right standing to leverage them?

Prayer: Lord please open my eyes to my kingdom benefits and help me to break out of any servitude where I am being traded less in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
