God's plan will always be established

“And now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand. Swear now therefore unto me by the Lord, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house.” 1 Samuel 24:20-21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1sa.24.20-21.kjv

God's plan will always be established

Who can battle with the Lord? The song writer says “I say Nobody”. In today’s Bible reading, after years of chasing down David with the aim to kill him and terminate what he feared was going to happen, King Saul eventually had to acknowledge that David indeed was going to be king of Isreal and pleaded with David to be kind to his family. His son Jonathan, had seen this light earlier and made the same truce with David that he be kind to him and his family after. Question today is : Are you struggling with God’s plan for yourself or for someone else so much so that it has consumed you so badly? Take a step back today and accept His will because His plans will eventually come to pass. But whether you will experience it with the peace of mind of having been an active part of the plan or if you will be forced to your knees in acceptance is the question that you must answer.

Prayer: Dear God, please open my eyes to see so that I can discern your plans and plug in rather than struggle 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
