“And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt, That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee. And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?” Exodus 6:28-30 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.6.28-30.kjv
God justifies the called. In today’s Bible reading, Moses continues to second-guess himself. God had instructed him to go tell Pharaoh all that He (God) had told him but Moses was convinced that Pharaoh would not listen to him. Especially when his home squad the Children of Isreal did not listen to me. God’s instruction doesn’t have to make sense to the majority. It doesn’t have to make sense to your friends and family. The criteria for going is that the Lord has instructed it. Period. It did not matter how Moses qualified himself, God saw in him the characteristics that was needed to complete the assignment of leading out the Isrealites from bondage. Part of his character had to be built upfront and dealing with Pharaoh’s resistance was part of the training for Moses for the long haul assignment and it was also an opportunity for God to show forth his wonders in the earth. There were going to be many more instructions along the way when the destiny of all of Isreal was at stake, which will not appear to make sense but which Moses would have to obey. The parting of the Red Sea with the stretch out rod, walking in the midst of the sea walls, manna from Heaven, water from the rock amongst others. So, again, if God is instructing you to go. Obey him and watch the story unfold.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your instructions. I receive grace to trust you completely. I believe you Lord, please help my unbelief 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
