“Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?” Psalm 94:7-10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.94.7-10.kjv
The Lord knows the deepest parts of our thoughts. The psalmist in the Bible reading today talks about those who believe that they do wickedness in ‘secret’, thinking that the Lord will not see it. The psalmist alludes that God knows our thoughts from afar of (Psalm 139:2). He is the discerner of the deepest intents of our hearts. He rewards in the open that which is done in the secret. Nothing is hid from our God. So, the next time that you want to perform that act in secret that you think no one would ever find out, remember that while you are even yet thinking about it God already knows about it.
Prayer: Dear Lord, please let the deepest meditations and innermost thinking of my heart be acceptable unto you. Let the Holy Spirit guide me and teach me until I reach perfection in you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
