Funmilola Asa is an Oil and Gas professional, mother, wife, author, speaker and lover of God. Funmi as a personal brand is a Transformational Insights Translator and a system thinker. Funmi is passionate about sharing insights from her life story, experiences and learnings to help people become better versions of themselves. Helping individuals and businesses on a transformational journey by providing strategic insights that inspire and drive innovation, resulting in step changes in performance. She is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) with more than  a decade and half years working experience in the Engineering profession in the Oil and Gas Industry. She is also a seasoned project management professional and a strategy practitioner. With core strength in analytical thinking, she is able to translate complex problems into manageable solutions, distilling insights that drive improved decision making; facilitating linkages between strategy, context and business outcomes leveraging many years of experience facilitating strategy development sessions.

Funmi is a serial learner, always looking for an opportunity to learn something new and increase her knowledge base which in turn allows her to impact others. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; a Masters of Business Administration from Aston University Birmingham, UK; a Masters in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in the System Design and Management program; and is currently a Doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK.

Funmi is conscientious, tenacious and inspired unto greater works. Her vision is to climb mountains, one little step at a time and in turn change the world one little sphere at a time. Her “Fighting spirit” is backed by innate leadership skills, inspired by a resilient mother and built-up tackling life’s challenges carried in God arms. She believes that if anything is worth doing at all, then it is worth doing well and she always seeks to understand the "why" in any situation.

Her motivation is in God whom she believes that with Him nothing is impossible. She is always excited and enabled by opportunities to contribute to a Larger than Life goal.
