A voice for the needy?

“Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.” Leviticus 19:14-15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lev.19.14-15.kjv

A voice for the needy?

Do you make life harder for those who are challenged? The Bible reading today warns about cursing the deaf or putting a stumbling block on the path of the blind. And then you’ll probably think “Why would anyone do that?”. Unfortunately we sometimes do the equivalent in present day by making processes and access to help harder for those who already have a challenge. So Question for you today is: Are you a voice for the needy? Do you still quietly when policies that who make life unbearable for those without means are made? Do you proffer the harder route option to others to seek the help they need when you know a better way? If you answer yes to any of those, you are putting a stumbling block in the way of the blind and you need to ask God for mercy.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I repent of every act or inaction that is equivalent to putting a stumbling block in path of the blind. Please have mercy on me and open my eyes to see opportunities to make it right in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
