Accepting the benefits of the price Christ paid?

“If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord. And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.” Leviticus 1:3-5 KJV

Accepting the benefits of the price Christ paid?

The Bible says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin (Hebrews 9:22). In the text today, the Instructions for atonement of sin was being provided to the Isrealites. They had to bring an item of sacrifice and it must be offered voluntarily and then they had to yield it and kill it in order for the blood to be sprinkled. Imagine as present day individuals what it would take to make atonement regularly to God. However, someone did it all for us, Jesus bore the burden of the world on his shoulder and shed his blood for the remission of sin so that all who accept him may come under the covering. However, the clause still remains - It has to be voluntary. The onus is on us as individuals to accept this saving Grace. Are you accepting the benefit and protection offered by this great sacrifice done so many years ago and which is still speaking today? The ultimate price was paid to maintain a speaking blood for you and I. Step into the coverage today
