Are you a thoughtful Child?
“The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.” Psalm 21:1-4 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.21.1-4.kjv

A popular song says “When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all he has done for me, my very soul shall shout Halleluyah…”. The blessings of God are multidimensional. From deliverances in time of trouble to the gift of life to mercy that speaks in the place of judgement and of course the good things of life that He has blessed us with. David in the Psalm in today’s Bible reading took time to reflect on the benefits of God and he committed to rejoice. Question for you today: Have you thought about the many blessings that God has provided for you, with the first being the gift of life? A thoughtful man is a thankful man.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for who you are and for all that you do. Thank you for life, thank you for salvation, thank you for daily loading me with your mercy and benefits. I receive the garment of praise. Please inhabit my praises and let there be the benefits of a life pleasing to you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
