Are you a true kingdom ally?

“For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die. And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said unto him, Wherefore shall he be slain? what hath he done?” 1 Samuel 20:31-32 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1sa.20.31-32.kjv

Are you a true kingdom ally?

What sort of Friend and kingdom ally are you? Do you stand in faith for your friends and kingdom partners or do you abandon ship at the first sign of trouble. Your work and relationships in the kingdom are divine investments that will payout sometime in the future. Jonathan loved David so much so as himself that he had sworn to be lifelong friends. So in today’s Bible reading where his father was angry and taunted him with the possibility that David could take the throne from Jonathan as long as he was alive, he remained just and asked His father what David’s offense really was. He was not for the sake of his potential position as king going to betray an innocent friend. Ask yourself today: When my personal gains and promotion are threatened, will I still stay true to my values and commitments? We know that this paid off for the remnant of Jonathan’s family when David sought to repay this kindness as seen in 2 Sam 9:1 “And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?”.

Prayer: Dear God, please give me the grace to be a true kingdom ambassador despite any challenges and temptations in my way. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
