Are you a child with God? In the Bible reading today, Jesus makes a profound analogy. He points out that whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child cannot enter. What then does it mean to be a child. It’s the recognition of one’s frailty, an openness to learning and trust in the capacity of the one who is leading and caring for you. It’s complete trust and obedience. A submission to the perfect will of God even when it does not make sense to our ‘child-like’ brains. The beauty is that on the other side of that vulnerability is immeasurable blessings and benefits.  So are you a child to God and the things of the kingdom? 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are an awesome father, teacher, and Lord. Thank you for your constant offer of fellowship and to learn at your feet and nurtured by you. Please Lord, teach me to be a child with you. Teach me to trust and help me to obey. Guide me into my glory in you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
