Are you connected to your source?
โHearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.โ Isaiah 51:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.51.1-2.kjv

Do you recognize the mothership of your life? Are you connected to the mothership? Are you receiving guidance and sustenance from the mothership? The mothership is usually the large craft from which smaller crafts are launched and maintained. Sometimes, in times of war, the mothership could be where the smaller crafts refuel from or the one that is able to launch the larger missiles. A smaller craft that drifts too far away from the mother ship may get lost, run out of fuel or just overpowered. So what does this mean to us as christians?ย The Bible reading today asks us to look at the stone from which we were cut. The characteristics of the stone should resemble the rock from where it was taken. So the question is how connected are your source. This is a critical checkpoint because the connection impacts your sustenance, your reinforcement in the face of challenges, your direction in life aligned with the goals of the source and where you fit into the picture. Take time today to reflect and if the answer that you get is not convincing then it is time to retrace your connection to the mothership before you get lost in the sea of life and get overwhelmed.ย
