Do you heed your warnings? The Lord Almighty rules in the affairs of men and does as he pleases. Often, he would send advance warnings of an impending danger to enable us as humans adjust our ways. Such was the case of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who had a disturbing dream that he had to get Daniel to interpret for him. It was a warning of how his kingdom and sanity, in essence, the source of his pride, was to be taken away from him for 7 years. Daniel ended the interpretation by asking him to change his ways in the hope that the impending decree will be averted.  However, the Bible records that 12 months later while basking in the supposed glory of his kingdom that according to him he had acquired by his power, the king was sent out from amongst the people with his mind now like that of a beast. I wonder if he may have averted it by changing his ways. In the final analysis, at the completion of the time stipulated by heaven, he acknowledged the Lordship of the Lord and regained his senses. What warnings are God sending your way at this time? Take them seriously. Our God is a God of a second chance.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you reign and rule in the affairs of men. Please Lord, in your mercies, please help me to recognize the warnings that you send my way and grant me the discipline to do according to your expectations so that I can be shielded from adversity in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
