Are you holding on to God?
“And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ch.4.9-10.kjv

The Bible tells us to ask and we shall receive. The day that an individual comes to the recognition that they cannot do life alone and that they need God is the beginning of assured victory. However, that knowledge must be backed up by action which is the active seeking of the help that is available. In the Bible reading today, having recognized how bad his situation was as a result of a pronouncement from birth due to no fault of his, Jabez asked for the Master of the universe to step into his situation. And God granted what he requested. Are you actively asking God for direction and protection in your life’s endeavors? Or are you being silent and continuing to figure it out on your own? Cash the cheque that has been made available through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Come under his covering today and more importantly ask God to help you and lead you.
