Are you acknowledging and responding to your warning signs? The Bible tells of a parable that Jesus gave about a certain rich man and a beggar Lazarus who died and were in different destinations, Lazarus in Heaven and the rich man in the burning lake. Having experienced excruciating pain of his new home, the rich man asked Father Abraham to send Lazarus back to his brothers to save them from the impending doom. His request was denied on the basis that the living had the prophets with them and that was enough for them to change their mind.  In the Bible reading today, Jesus was wondering what was going to be enough to convince the adamant Pharisee and other unbelievers. He pointed out the variance in approach between John the Baptist and Jesus and yet the people would not believe either. Heaven is calling out to you and I today in various forms and manners. Are you being like the Pharisees staying adamant on a dangerous path of unbelief? Or are you yielding to the prompting of heaven. Be wise. Don’t wait till the opportunity has gone to realize what has been missed. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the intentional God who is mindful of me. Lord, I come before you in absolute surrender. Please lead and guide my footsteps. Let me not falter or wander away from your path of purpose. Help me to recognize your voice speaking to me at all times in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
