The Bible tells us that God is not an author of confusion. He has his sharing formula. He has apportioned to his people target assignments and audiences and we thrive best when we are situated where he designed for us to be. In today’s Bible reading, Moses continues to recount the journey of the Israelites over the 40 years in the wilderness. What was profound is the fact that there were instances specifically with the descendants of Esau and Lot where the instructions to Israel was clear.  Regardless of the fact that the people would be afraid of them, they could not take their land because God had given it to them as an inheritance. In fact, everything that was to be collected was to be paid for. However, when they got further in their journey closer to the promised land, God gave them specific kings and lands to conquer. Hence, it is important for us as children of God who are walking in delegated authority to respect boundaries. We must recognize what God has provided to us and the things that have been earmarked for other journey partners in life.  Again, we thrive when we are the very center of God’s will. Do you know his will for you? Or are you ‘land grabbing’ into territories that he would not have you go?

Prayer: Dear God, thank you because you are the intentional God who controls times and seasons. Thank you because are mindful of me. Thank you for instructions in righteousness. Please Lord, help me to know your perfect will for my life at all times so that I can thrive from the glory of your presence and pleasure in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
