Chance encounter or intentional connection? In the multitude or having a one on one? Key questions that every Christian must answer on the journey of life and kingdom impact. The Bible reading today adds color to these questions as it tells us the story of a unique purposeful encounter in the midst of a multitude of people. Jesus was being followed by a multitude on his way to an assignment and yet he stopped because he realized that a connection had resulted in significant pull of virtue.  Much like the load connection on an electrical line that draws significant energy when connected that there is a flicker in the light despite other devices that were previously connected. There was a significant drawdown that caught the attention of heaven. It was meeting of destiny for one who had purposed in her heart that if only she could touch the hem of the garment of Jesus she would be healed.  There were so many other people who could have been touching his garment at that time but did not get anything because they were there in the multitude intrigued by what Jesus was about to go do without realizing how much power was available right there to them. Hence ask yourself, are you connecting to God intentionally or are you just one of those who always just happens to be there in the multitude watching for signs and wonders or excited by the idea of God but not encountering the power thereof?  When Moses stepped aside to view the burning bush, he made and intentional decision that sparked the beginning of a trans-generational assignment. Connect intentionally to God and see him use your story for his glory.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all-powerful and all-sufficient God who uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I commit to you afresh. Help me to connect and Lord, please use me for your glory 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
