Are you leading the right way?
“And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. And it was so, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that the king's scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money that was found in the house of the Lord. And they gave the money, being told, into the hands of them that did the work, that had the oversight of the house of the Lord: and they laid it out to the carpenters and builders, that wrought upon the house of the Lord,” 2 Kings 12:2, 10-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ki.12.2-11.kjv

Leadership is critical. The focus of the leader drives implementation by the followers. King Jehoash was raised well under the supervision of the Priest and so that led him to be focused on pleasing God. He was concerned about the things of God and repairing the breach in the temple of God. Even when it did not happen after his initial instructions, he followed up and ensured that it was made possible. The kings ahead of him could not be bothered as their focus was somewhere else. We see in the Bible reading that the temple was eventually repaired with a singleness of heart and purpose because the leadership was right. What sort of actions are you inspiring in your position as a leader? The Lord is counting on you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your guidance and directions always. Please Lord don’t let me fail you in my leadership assignments in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
