Are you limiting God?
“Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.” Isaiah 59:1-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.59.1-3.kjv

What is the health of your divine help highway? One thing that can be painful is to have capacity that is inaccessible when needed. Like having money in the back and yet unable to meet basic needs or address critical issues because the instrument of access is expired or faulty. Such is the case that is described in today’s Bible verse where God says that the challenge is not that he is not able to help but that the access route has been wedged with all sorts of debris from sinful ways and iniquities. Again, note that the issue here is not God’s ability to clear the wedges but because he has established terms of agreement, rules of engagement for you to come before him. Hence, the question to ask yourself is: Am I limiting God’s access and intervention in my life through my thoughts and actions? That is a dangerous place to be because the dangers of an exposed life without the backing of your greatest ally are enormous. This is why the Bible says that if it wasn’t for the Lord that was on our side, the enemy would have made a complete show of us. So, again, is he by your side? Examine your ways and make the right choices today.
