The Bible tells us that we have these treasures in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. The story in the Bible reading today is of the Lord Jesus Christ the savior of the world who had come in human form to the world. He was to save the world but yet needed to be protected in his infancy from destiny destroyers. All those things happened so that the scriptures that had been prophesied previously may come to pass.  However, it is an important reminder of the need to nurture and protect the kingdom treasures that we carry until they are indeed mature and ready to be announced to the world. Joseph under the leading of the Lord had to take the child Jesus to Egypt out of harm’s way. Do you recognize your treasures while they are still budding? Do you recognize the instructions that you have concerning them? Are you following the instructions that you have been given? Take heed so that your treasures remain protected till they are mature enough for manifestation.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the giver of good gifts and whatever you give, you don’t add sorrow to it. Please Lord, I come before you afresh asking you to tune my mind and ears to perceive the treasures that you have committed into my hands and the instructions that will preserve them. Let my treasures mature into glory in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
