Are you ready for God's breakthrough?
”And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.“ Exodus 12:11-12 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.11-12.kjv

Are you ready for God’s break through? God makes all things beautiful in his time. However, he often requires readiness on the part of the recipient for the fulfillment of the miracles. In the Bible reading today, God had instructed the Israelites to eat the Passover meal that was to lead them into breakthrough. They had a couple of instructions alongside. They were to mark the doorpost of their house so that when the angel of death comes it would pass over them. Also they were to eat the meal fully dressed up and in a haste. There were other plagues that had occurred in the land of Egypt where God had clearly separated the Israelites who were in the land of Goshen from the rest of Egypt so if God wanted he could have separated them from the Egyptians as well when the angel of death passes through. However, this one time they needed to be prepared because the series of events that was to happen right after would lead them out of their land of captivity and if they were unprepared they may not leave the land gracefully. We know that after the Passover, there was great mourning in Egypt as first borns died and so the Egyptians sent them out in a hurry. However as many things as the Israelites requested for from their neighbors they received. It was the time for action not to start getting ready. Are you ready for the open doors that God is opening for you? Are you ready to partner with God into your breakthrough? Don’t be caught unawares. The king’s command requires haste.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are our banner, strong tower and defender. Lord as you fight my battles, please give me the grace for obedience and the discipline to walk with you into my breakthrough in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
