When the Lord visits….. the outcome of the visitation has a strong leaning to the state of the visited. The Bible records God’s visit to Abraham by the 3 strangers that marked the manifestations and fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham. However, the visit by God’s angels to Sodom was for destruction. In the parable of the vine and the owner, the assessment of the owner of the state of the vine would have lead to an uprooting.  In the Bible reading today, as a result of the sins and ineptitude of the prophets of Judas and Samaria and its contribution to leading the people astray, God was going to visit severe punishment on the prophets in the year of their visitation. As children of God anchored to the great testimonies of God’s visitations in the Bible, we often pray for a visitation from God. However the real question is: Are you truly ready for his visitation. Would his visitation bring pleasure to him from the state of your life or would it be the reverse.  Take stock of your heavenly standing.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because your presence makes the difference in the life of the individual whose ways are right before you. Please Lord, help me through the Holy Spirit to identify the areas of my life and walk with you that needs to be improved. Please visit me in your pleasure and bring the manifestation of your promises in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
