Are you righteous in His Sight?
“I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.” Psalm 3:4-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.3.5.kjv

What is your measurement scale? The capacity and saving grace of our God or the size of the challenges that confront you. In the Bible reading today, the Psalmist acknowledged the many times that God had come through for him and so with that understanding he proclaimed that he would not be afraid of 10,000 people that set themselves against him. The Bible assures us that since the gathering of the evil ones are not unto the Lord, they shall scatter. However, your focus is critical because one of the weapons of our enemy the Devil is fear. Remember that as long as Peter looked at Jesus, he did the unimaginable thing of walking on water but as soon as his focus shifted to the turbulence of the waves around him, he started to sink. But then again, he cried out to God for deliverance. No matter where you are with your challenges, God is able to deliver you. The question however is: Can he hear you? Is your life aligned with God’s expectation for his children. Remember that the Bible tells us that sin casts a wedge between us and the deliverance that our God offers. If you are not living right, repent today and ask God for his mercy. There is no challenge that God cannot fix.
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for the deliverances that you offer always. Please Lord search me and open my eyes to see any ways that I may be inhibiting your help through sin. I receive the grace to retrace my steps into your loving arms with victory assured in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
