Are you rooted?

“In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine. I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.” Isaiah 27:2-3, 6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.27.2-6.kjv

Are you rooted?

The Bible tells us that blessed is the one who takes refuge in the Lord. We are also told that they that dwell in the secret place of the Lord will abide under the shadow of the Almighty where they experience refuge and strength. In the Bible reading today, prophet Isaiah describes a vineyard that is kept of the Lord. It thrives because not only does the Lord provide sustenance, he also keep it away from harm. Such are the blessings of God.  The Bible tells us that he blesses and adds no sorrow. It’s a complete kind of blessing not the trade by barter that the devil and the world gives. So the question today is: Are you yielding to God’s care and nurture? His sacrifices are a broken spirit and a contrite heart. One that comes to him in complete humility.  The benefits are immense. According to the reading, once you are rooted then the prosperity that comes from it spreads out immensely. Are you rooted? Are you in his secret place? Can you boldly say that you are a vineyard being tended by God. Sometimes, the pruning may be uncomfortable but you can rest assured that the results are undeniably pleasant.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are an intentional God. Thank you because you are mindful of us as humans. Please Lord I come before your throne of grace to seek for new mercies. Lord I surrender to your Lordship, please accept me and tend me so that I can thrive from the benefits of a divinely-guided life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
