Are you sincere with God?
“If thou prepare thine heart, And stretch out thine hands toward him; If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, And let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; Yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear: And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; Yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; Yea, many shall make suit unto thee.” Job 11:13-15, 18-19 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.11.13-19.kjv

There is security and peace in a life of righteousness. The Bible chapter today after recognizing the fact that it is an exercise in futility to try to search out the full depths and spans of our God goes on to give us a secret for peace and rest. It is repenting of sin and yielding completely into the arms of the Lord. When there is no iniquity found in you then you can lift up your face without spot and fear and lie down with no one being able to make you afraid. Recall how at the garden of Eden, the first humans were dwelling in peace and fellowship with God until sin was introduced and their favorite past time of an evening walk with God in the garden became a dreaded event. They now hid because they realized that they were naked. So, the question today is: Do you have anything in you that would make you afraid? Yield it all and turn to God completely so that you can go about and nothing will make you afraid. Not because it’s not tough out there but the confidence comes in knowing that God has got you covered.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your loving kindness always. Thank you for the assurance of rest and peace that exists in you. Father, I yield everything in me that may make me second guess my walk with you and I yield completely to your loving arms. Grant me peace from within and rest on all sides in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
