Are you bridging the gap? The Lord spoke to the prophet Ezekiel in the Bible that he sought for a man to make up the hedge and stand in the gap on behalf of the land so that the Lord will not destroy the land, and he found none. Oh what a shame. From time to time, God in his infinite mercies seeks for someone to intercede on behalf of their family, city, land, country, etc.. Are you that person?  In today’s Bible reading, the Levites were the bridge for the land of Israel. They represented the firstborns of the land that belong to God. They were ordained into service of the tabernacle and to make constant atonement for the land so that they don’t get destroyed. In all the spheres of the world, intercessors are required to prevent a complete wipeout. Do your bit. Abraham interceded with God on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah because his kindred was there.  You may be the conduit of God’s mercies for your sphere of influence. Don’t be caught napping.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a merciful God. Thank you for your mercies that prevail over judgement. Lord I come before you today on behalf of my sphere of assignment. Please Lord, have mercy on the land. Let your mercy speak against destruction in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
