Laws and covenants are powerful, especially when they are enacted by the Almighty God. This was highlighted by Moses to the Israelites when they were about to enter the promised land in the book of Deuteronomy 28. While a lot of people are conversant and claim the earlier part of the chapter with all the great promises for the obedient, the flip side is also stated in the later parts of the chapter as consequences for disobedience.  In the Bible reading today, the prophecies of Isaiah towards the land indicated a series of challenges that were upcoming due to the people defiling the land and breaking the covenants. Recall that we are told not to remove the ancient landmarks. There are certain ordinances and covenants that exists with both sides of the coin applicable. So, are there issues in your land and craft? Check that you are still within the terms of the covenant of God’s ordinances.  If not, then seek God’s mercy and retrace your steps. The Bible says if we humble ourselves and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways then he will heal our land. 

Prayer: Dear Lord thank you because you are a merciful God and your mercies prevail over judgement. Please Lord, we come before you in humility pleading for your mercy over us and our land. Please heal our land and help us to remain obedient to your statutes so that we can prosper in the land in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
