Are your works bringing God glory?

“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Revelation 3:8, 10 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/rev.3.8,10.kjv

Are your works bringing God glory?

“Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I may not sin against thee”... said David the beloved of God (Psalm 119:11). One of the surest preservation in the time of challenges is the faith and peace that comes from the word of God in our hearts. To clarify, it does not come by how many Bible verses you can recite off the top of your head. It is by the application of the words in our hearts and lives. The Bible reading today reckons the ‘little strength” of the church in Philadelphia; and more importantly how they have kept the word and not denied his name. In our spheres of influence, how much of God’s word (no matter how little) are we applying to keep the name of God and not bring disrepute to him? When we bring glory to him, he opens up a door for us because he that is faithful in little will be Lord of Many. When we step through the door, we must be careful not to forget our first Love by abiding the more in his word, growing and blossoming to the glory of God.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to know your word the more, even in my place of little strength and give me the boldness to keep the faith that I may walk into the open doors of your goodness despite all that’s happening around me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
