Are you standing on your watch as an Elder of faith? Or are you asleep as described in Isaiah 29:10? For those who know the right thing to do and don’t do it, it is a sin. As Christians, we have the responsibility to stand in the gap, to follow the correct procedures in the things of the kingdom and to teach those coming behind us the right ways - the dos and don’ts so that they don’t fall into trouble from ignorance of the instructions of God. In the Bible reading today, after the unfortunate incident of Uzzah’s death while transporting the ark of covenant, on the second go-around, David went to the Levites and reminded them of their responsibilities when it comes to the handling of the ark.  They had the responsibility to sanctify themselves holy and then carry the ark. The ark had not been moved for so many years preceding the first incident but it was not an excuse for the procedures to be broken. The Bible tells us not to remove the ancient landmark. Are things being done wrong in your local church and you just shake your head and say times have changed without offering an input. You are culpable for whatever issues arise from the misguided acts. The Ancient landmark are critical markers of God’s deliverances and instructions. What are you ignoring today that could have significant consequences. You can start to examine in your immediate kingdom constituency - your family. 

Prayer: Dear Lord God of Heaven, the creator of the heavens and earth. I need you more than ever before so that I don’t fail my generation and those that you have put in my charge. Give me the boldness to stand my guard so that we do not collectively fall into corruption 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
