Can God trust you?

“And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.” Mark 9:2-4 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.9.2-4.kjv

Can God trust you?

Are you in the inner circle? Can you be trusted with heaven’s secrets? Are you committed to the assignment of the maker? The benefit of intimacy with God is that you experience the supernatural. In today’s Bible reading, Jesus took Peter, James and John with him to the high mountain and there they witnessed a prelude to the transformation of Christ. He was transfigured in their presence, they witnessed a conversation between Christ and past prophets, and then they received affirmation from God verbally that Jesus is indeed God’s beloved son. It was a once in a lifetime expose.  While they were experiencing this new level of divine encounters, the rest of the disciples were out there battling to heal a child with a deaf and dumb spirit and they could not until Jesus returned from this experience. It is such a privilege to be in God’s inner circle. It suggests that he can trust you with his assignment. Are you spending time with God? All he says is that you come and abide. There is no telling what you would find on the other side of yielding to the call.  Another example of someone who benefited from that intimacy with God is Moses… Are you willing?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for your call to fellowship. Please Lord sanctify me holy and find me worthy of a closer walk with you. Let my life be transformed from the glory of your presence in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
