Do you know your kingdom role?
“And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.” Exodus 17:11-13 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.17.11-13.kjv

Are you playing your part in the kingdom battles? Every one has specific assignments for specific scenarios in the kingdom and like the jigsaw puzzle, every part is needed to make the picture complete. In the Bible reading today, Isreal was to fight with the armies of the Amalek. By normal definitions, the people who went to battle were the soldiers with the swords on the battle field. However we see that there was spiritual backing being provided by Moses using the rod that God had empowered. So, this would make Moses and Joshua and potentially the rest of the army the stars of the show. However we know that at a point Moses could no longer maintain the posture that was required for Isreal to continue to win the battle. This created a critical opening of roles for Aaron and Ur who had to hold up his hands. Without both of them, Isreal may have lost the battle. Some individuals are called to the ministry of help. They may not be at the forefront but are very critical to success. From time to time we take on different roles. For instance in certain battles you may be the Joshua leading the charge but in orders you may be Moses like the examples of children who are excelling because of a mother who is perpetually on her knees praying for them. So, do you recognize your roles in the specific battles that you are a part of? Also, in the battles where you are at the forefront, do you acknowledge those whose support are critical for the battle to be won?
Prayer: Dear Lord, please open my eyes to see my specific assignments in the aspects that I have been assigned so that I may not lose out by trying to be someone else 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
