Do you please the Lord?
“And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” Job 1:8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.1.8.kjv

What does it take to please God and to make him proud? The Bible tells us that God’s sacrifice is a broken spirit. In the Bible reading today, we see God boast to the Devil of his servant Job on the basis that he feared God and hated evil. This made God qualify him as an upright and perfect man. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom as seen in the Bible. So, are you looking to stand head above shoulders on God’s list, then fear God, do his will always, love the things that he love and despise the things that he hates which is sin of any kind and then you will get heaven’s attention always.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and loving kindness always. Please Lord reach your ways and help me to walk in them. Help me Lord to please you with my words and action through your word and the prompting of the Holy Spirit; and help me to enjoy the benefits of pleasing you in the hedge that you provide around me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
