Do you prioritize the fear of the Lord?
โSanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.โ Isaiah 8:13-14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.8.13-14.kjv

The Bible tells us that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that the righteous run into and are saved. That which serves as a preservation to the righteous is a rock of offense and stumbling block to the unbelieving according to the Bible. In the reading today, we are told to let the Lord of Host be our fear and dread and he will be a sanctuary to us. He is the one who controls time and seasons, turns the heart of kings in whatever direction he pleases and to whom the elements of nature are subject to.ย What more does a person need than to be hidden in his arms. The Bible says that he is our ever present help in times of need. As you go about your activities today, ask yourself if you are prioritizing the fear of the most High God because then you are assured of safety from any raging storm when you are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty.
