The Bible tells us, “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”. The ministry of prophets is very important to individuals and a group of people. You would recall that in the Bible, King David had a good relationship with God and would often hear from God directly but from time to time God would send prophets to him with instructions or warnings.  It is important that we recognize the true prophets over our lives and lands and honor them so that we can thrive. In the Bible reading today, God was saying to Israel how he had consistently sent prophets to them. He also pointed to how Israel was led out of captivity and sustained by prophets. So, do you recognize the prophets in your life?  Sometimes, they come with a confirmation to what God has already shown you. You must be tuned in with God at all times and you must also recognize those that he sends to you from time to time. May we not miss out on our words in Jesus name.

Prayer: Dear Lord thank you for your words, thank you for the Holyspirit in us and thank you for the prophets that you send to us. Please help us to be sensitive in the spirit to discern the true prophets over our lives so that we don’t miss out on the messages that they bear for us in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
