Do you recognize what you have?

“They that sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:5-6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.126.5-6.kjv

Do you recognize what you have?

Seeds are very powerful. They are the source of any harvest. The Bible encourages us in the book of Ecclesiastes to sow in the morning, evening and every time for that matter because you don’t know which will prosper. God honors the importance of sowing because we are told that he gives seed to the sower along with bread for the eater. The Bible reading today highlights the importance of seeds for changing one’s situation from weeping to laughter.  The key here is that the individual who goes out bearing precious seed will return with laughter at the resultant harvest. So the question today is: Do you recognize the seeds that are in your hands? And more importantly are you planting them like the servants who got the five and two talents in the parable of the sower? Don’t be like the one who was preserving what should have been multiplied.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you indeed give seed to the sower. Please Lord open my eyes to recognize the seeds that are in my hands and please give the boldness to trust you completely with my seeds so that you can transform them into bountiful harvests for your glory in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
