Do you recognize the seeds of divine greatness in your hands? Are you sowing them and nurturing them? The Bible tells us not to despise the days of little beginnings. In the Bible reading today, Jesus told a parable comparing the kingdom of heaven to a small mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field. Upon sowing, the really tiny seed grew to be a massive tree that is the greatest amongst all herbs and hosts all sorts of birds and animals. The seemingly little beginnings of the seed carried significant potential that could not be seen unless put into the ground and nurtured to greatness.  For some people, the seed is a divine instruction caught in the middle of a Bible revelation or a sermon or other inspirations. However, if it is not put into the soil of our hearts and nurtured through action, it remains the smallest of seeds. The word of God is able to change and transform an individual and the person’s situation but it’s a partnership of accepting the word and nurturing it through disciplined and committed action. Recall that the Bible tells us that if we are willing and obedient we will eat the good of the land. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the divine planter of the seeds of divine greatness. Lord, please give me a discerning heart so that I don’t miss my divine appointment. Help me to nurture the seeds of your words and instructions till they grow into mighty trees that is evident to the world in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
