Do you trust God's word?

“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:17, 20 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ch.20.17-20.kjv

Do you trust God's word?

Never the less at thy word!!!. These were the words of Peter to Jesus Christ when after a night of toiling without catching any fish, he played host to the way maker who then instructed him where to not only get fish but a net-breaking miracle. A similar scenario played out in the Bible reading today, as three kings were coming to take on Judah under King Jehoshaphat’s reign. He was scared and went to God, recalling past deliverances from God. God stepped into the situation and decided to fight the battle for them. But, they still had to go to the battle front. So despite their fears, they chose to obey and went at God’s word.  The King encouraged the people to believe God and his prophets because therein was their deliverance. They did not have to fight the battle as God had said but in addition they came back with spoils of war that they did not fight in. However, they were only able to get these benefits because nevertheless, their fears discounting, at His word they went out. What is confronting you today? Take it to the King of Kings and then follow his instructions to the letter. The assurance of God’s presence makes the difference. Note though that Jehoshaphat was able to make the claims to God because of their right standing with God. So your standing with God must be guarded jealously because their-in lies the key to ultimate victory.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are Jehovah Nissi our banner. I look to you concerning the battle situations of my life. Please step into my situation and fight my battles for me. I receive the grace for complete trust and obedience to move forward at your word. Please grant me victory on every side 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
