Do you trust in God's Promises?
”And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?“ Genesis 37:5, 8, 10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.37.5-10.kjv

Human endorsement of your God-given dreams, visions and assignments is not a prerequisite for their fulfillment. The Bible tells us that God is not a man that he should lie or the son of man than he should repent. Has he said it, shall he not do it? Has he promised and shall he not make it good? In the Bible reading today, the young Joseph had dreams of what was going to happen in the future. He told the dream as is but his brothers hated him for it so much so that they wanted to kill him at some point to end his dream. His father rebuked him about the dream. His father who himself had seen the power of dreams with God showing himself to him many time in a dream still cautioned him because it was one that suggested that he would bow before him. I imagine that even if the young Joseph had any other dreams he may never have spoken up again since his inner circle had suppressed the earlier ones. However the one who gave the dream watched over his word to perfect it through the rough roads that led up to his fulfillment. What promises has God given you? What are the burning desires that God had put in you for his kingdom and your life? The opinions of even trusted fathers of faith may not be the litmus test for its fulfillment. Take it back to God and follow his leading through the process. He will bring it to pass in due time. The Bible tells us that until the time of the fulfillment of Joseph’s word came, God’s word tried him. Will he find you faithful?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the promise keeper. Lord, I commit every vision of glory that you have given me into your hands afresh. Please lead and guide me into its fulfillment in Jesus name. Let me not be distracted in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
