Do you understand His Purpose?
“Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.” Ezekiel 11:17-18 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/ezk.11.17-18.kjv

Restored for a purpose. In today’s Bible reading, the Lord gave Prophet Ezekiel a vision and part of that vision was around the fact that he was going to restore the Israelites from the lands of captivity where they had been scattered at the time. God was going to restore them so that they can come back into the land and take a way the abomination and idols in the land. With their new found appreciation of the deliverance provided by God, they were going to be willing. Besides, God had promised to give them a heart of flesh so that they would be obedient to his will. He was rescuing and restoring them for a purpose. Our God is very intentional in the things that he does and that is why as recipients of his blessings we must be sensitive to his instructions and his divine grand agenda. This is why Mordecai said to Esther when the Jews were about to be destroyed, “do you know if you have come to your royal position for a time like this?”. What is the purpose for which God has put in the place that you are? Seek God’s face to know, so that you can align with his divine agenda for a time like this.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are indeed an intentional God and you do as you please. Please Lord, give me listening ears, seeing eyes and sensitive heart so that I can understand your purpose for my life and circumstances at all times and please give me the heart to follow your will in complete obedience in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
