Dont terminate your victory run prematurely
“So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.” Joshua 11:23 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/jos.11.23.kjv
“hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19). Our God does not lie. When he says it, he will surely bring it to pass. In the Bible reading today, the Israelites took all the Land that God had promised them for an inheritance. The wordings of the reading is however very important. They ‘took’. The series of chapters leading to this reading shows all the many wars that Joshua led the Israelites through till they got all the inheritance and then they rested. You must partner with God to bring to pass the blessings that have been proclaimed over your life. Are you resting prematurely? Are you sleeping when you should be at war in the spiritual? Are you eating the premature victory when God is saying match forward? Are you prematurely terminating your victory run because of disobedience like Isreal that lost to Ai very early in the journey because Achan took the accursed thing? It’s time for a self examination? When God says it, his words do not return to him void but as an individual you can terminate your purpose. Partner with God today. Seek his face and commit to obeying his instruction. What skills must you build today? What work must you do today? As long as you are at the center of God’s will, victory and ultimate rest is assured but there are interim battles to be had along the way. Glory!!!!
Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank you for your promises over my life. Have mercy on me for any way I have prematurely terminated your victory in my life. I come to you today, please lead me on to victory till I enter into my rest 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
