Don't be ignorant
“O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God. Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:” Jeremiah 5:3-4, 21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.5.3-21.kjv

The worst kind of poverty that an individual can have is one of the intellect where they do not understand the signs and times, and most importantly the warnings from God. In the Bible reading today, we see that despite so many warnings and judgement from God, the people did not bulge in their evil ways which led the Prophet Jeremiah to the conclusion that they are so poor in the knowledge of God’s ways and of his judgement. If there is anything that a child of God must seek from God regularly, it should be the spirit of discernment in the things of the kingdom. The spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God enables an individual to live a life that is pleasing to God and to benefit from the pleasure of a divinely-guided life. So, seek wisdom and knowledge of God today.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for your offer of salvations and communion always. Please Lord help me. Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear. Let my heart be discerning of your wisdom and help me to thrive in the knowledge and revelation of your ways in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
