Sometimes, your access into the heights of divine purpose is wrapped in opportunities of service. The Bible recalls that when Abraham was visited by the three strangers, he was eager to serve them and make them comfortable so that they can continue their journey and wrapped in that service was the fulfillment of a prophecy of the birth of his son, Isaac. In the Bible reading today, Joseph was introduced to the person who would later be his recommender to the palace through service.  Pharaoh’s chief butler and head baker had been thrown into prison at the time when Joseph was there. He was put in charge of caring for them and that granted him access to be able to tell on the day that they were disturbed about their dreams. He had become close enough in the place of service that they were able to bare their minds to him. He may as well have been the only one in that prison that heard about their dreams.  What opportunities of service is God bringing your way as a primer to the positions that he is taking you to? Ask God for grace to recognize them and not to miss your appointments with destiny.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for being the orchestrator of my life and destiny. Thank you for knowing me and for choosing me. Please Lord open my eyes to see the opportunities that you are bringing my way and give me the boldness and discipline to do what is required to gain access to the heights of your glorious assignment for me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
