There is a consecration before service unto the Lord, there is an abiding before the launching out. There are processes in the kingdom and it is important to go through the process for our own good so that we do not get hurt in the place of service. In today’s Bible reading, Aaron and his sons were being commissioned into their service as priests. After all the various atonement, they were still instructed to remain in the tabernacle for seven days before they were ready.  Think that this is an Old Testament thing? Then recall that Jesus’ disciples were told to tarry in Jerusalem until they had been endued with power. The task that they had before them was a delicate one and they needed to be fully commissioned. Is God giving you an assignment in your sphere of life? Then make sure you tarry in his presence till you have received the instructions and power that you need. Recall that Bible tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and the rulers of darkness of this world.  So that we don’t get hurt in the battle front on life make sure that you have the full backing of the one who sent you on the assignment. He makes all things beautiful in His time. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the one who calls a person and provides resources for the vision. Please Lord, help me to stay connected to my source to receive guidance for every step of the way. Let me hear a voice guiding me on the way to go so that I don’t get stranded on the journey in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
