Don't lose sight of God's Promise
”And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.“ Genesis 50:24-25 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.50.24-25.kjv

Never loose sight of the promise or destination regardless of the current circumstances that you are passing through, whether comfortable or uncomfortable. God keeps to his promise in his own time. In the Bible reading today, Joseph was about to die and he told his brethren that God will surely visit them and take them out of the land of Egypt into the promised land which God assured their patriarchs. One perspective to look at this in our present day is of promises here on earth that God has given us. While sometimes the present may not look like it or may even have some semblance of it, we must never forget that God is an intentional God and his perfect will is important. So the Bible tells us to wait for it. Another perspective is the ultimate promise for all believers of our home in glory and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must never loose focus of that because we are closer today than when it was first promised. There are many signs around us that are fulfillment of the prophecies in the Bible so we must remain vigilant because he will surely come for his own.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Almighty God, the promise keeper, our ever-present help in times of need. Please Lord, I trust you for the grace to remain focused. Looking unto you as the author and finisher of my faith. Let me enter into my rest here on earth and ultimately in Heaven when you come for your saints in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
