Don't mix with them
“they clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes; and that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:” Nehemiah 10:29-30 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/neh.10.29-30.kjv

The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. The seed of sin and destruction is sown in the lives of some individuals the day that they entered into intimate agreements with those who are not headed on the same direction as them. Those whose gazes are fixated on the broad way that leads to hell vs the narrow way. In the Bible reading today, the Israelites as part of their commitment to living right took an oath not to be entangled with the strangers of the land through marriage. Living holy requires discipline. Imagine how much harder it becomes when you have someone offering compromises and reminding you that you don’t have to go the heavenly route in businesses, families and all spheres of life. Hence, it’s important that you check your associations. Who are those in your inner circle? If they are not children of God and not aligned in kingdom purpose, then you are only a few inches from compromise if you haven’t already. Take stock. There is a way that seems right to man but at the end lies destruction.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for always creating a path to you. Thank you for the constant call for holiness and righteous living. Please lord, open my eyes to see any yokes in and around me that are contending with my kingdom destination. Grant me the grace to come out from amongst them and be separate so that my life can reflect the glory of your presence always 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
