The Bible tells us of a people who do not retain God in their knowledge and so he gives them over to a reprobate mind to do the things that are not convenient. It is a dangerous slope to remain in the place of blatant unrepentance in the face of continuous warning from God. The Bible reading today is an example of a time when God was upset with his people Israel for consistently provoking the eye of his glory. The consequences were untold hardship when ‘babies’ ruled over them.  They are categorized as such because they make choices that led to significant oppression in the land. In addition to our individual repentance, it is important that we continuously pray for the land because widespread iniquities in the land has implications for the well being of all. The Lord says that if his people who are called by his name will humble themselves and pray and seek his face and turn from their wicked way that he will heal the land.  Are you or your land in need of healing and cleansing? Then turn to the Lord in complete humility and obedience. 

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you because your foundations stand sure and you know those that are yours. Please Lord we turn to you completely humble and repentant. Please Lord have mercy on us and our land. Please heal the land O God in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
