Don't seek Him Halfheartedly
“And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king. For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.” Ezra 7:8-10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/ezr.7.8-10.kjv

There is a sequence of interaction with God’s instructions that pleases God. ‘Know the word’, ‘Do the word’, and ‘teach others’. In the Bible reading today, we see the journey of Ezra, the priest and scribe back to Jerusalem as part of the efforts to rebuild the temple. He was strengthened by God and unusually favored by the King of Persia as seen in the open cheque of resources and authority that he was offered. We saw that God’s hands was upon him because he had made up his mind to know the Lord, do his will and tel others to. The Bible reminds us in Romans 10:41 that there are people who will not seek God because they have not heard about him because there is no preacher. So God’s heart beat is that many more souls come into his saving grace and so anyone who seeks to teach the word is a kingdom ally. However, the ability to do that authentically comes from an experiential knowledge of knowing God for your self and seeking to do his bidding.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Alpha and Omega, the All knowing God. Please show me your way that I may learn of you and give me the grace to do that I may experience you and Lord, please give me a burning desire to me a kingdom ally and to tell of your goodness to those around me so the blessing of a life pleasing to you will be mine always 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
