Don't trivialize God's Grace

“How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied? God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!” Numbers 23:8, 19-20, 23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/num.23.8-23.kjv

Don't trivialize God's Grace

God defends his own against external attacks for his name sake. Imagine what an insult it would look like to attempt to attack someone who is under the protection of the mightiest person in a neighborhood. The Bible reading today showed how Balak was resolute in his determination to curse Isreal through Balaam but God kept reiterating his blessing and coverage over Isreal. However, the coverage no longer applies when there is a willful denouncing by the protected. The Bible tells us that whoever breaks the hedge the serpent will bite.  So many times, Christians become prey to the devil not because God cannot protect them but because they choose to drive a wedge between themselves and the Almighty God. This is equivalent to casting one’s precious treasures to pigs to play with. Do not toy with sin as it is a promise breaker and a destiny destroyer. God is always available to save. Are you utilizing the saving grace?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for loving me always. Thank you for being my ever present help in times of need. I come to you afresh today to dedicate my self to you. Please Lord help me not to wander out of your protection through sin in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
