Don't turn away from Him
“But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.” Jeremiah 3:19 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.3.19.kjv

The Bible tells us that God’s eyes run to and fro the earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect before him. Our God owns the cattle on the thousand hills and all the silver and gold and he is always calling for a relationship with us where he can also lavish his goodness upon us. However, maybe because we don’t fully understand the process and are taken with temporary pleasures or distractions, we continue to drift in the opposite direction as seen in the chapter of the Bible Reading today where God was complaining about how Israel and Judah had taken to other gods in what could be compared to being harlots. God is offering us the world and the goodness therein but only on the condition that we are children in deed and not turn away from him. Are you ready?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are plenteous in goodness and mercy. Please Lord, have mercy upon me for any past or present wandering away from your presence. Please restore me fully to my position in you and let the benefits of my renewed identity be evident for the world to see in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
