Watch out for your specific instruction..... There had been a famine in the Land in the days of Isaac and while it was logical for him to go to Egypt in search of greener pasture, God told Isaac not to go. He remained in the Land of Gerar and reaped multi-fold harvests in that same period. While God has asked him to stay, it did not make him immune to challenges as the philistines kept striving for Isaac’s properties like the wells that he dug that was consistently contended with. But God showed him that like the song writer said.... “When God is it, there is no limit”.... Everything he touched turned to gold. His contenders had to accept that indeed the Lord was with Isaac. It does not matter how bad it looks, if God is asking you to stay the trust the one who knows the beginning from the end. It does not mean that there will be no challenges but the assurance of his presence brings peace that passes all understanding. Sometimes he allows those challenges to show his supremacy and to point all glory back to him. Is God in it with you?
