God, the Provider
“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service. And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.” Numbers 7:4-6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/num.7.4-6.kjv

Our God is very equitable. He knows our needs, abilities, and the capacity that he has provided for us to perform the assignments that he has given to each one of us. He makes provisions according to these dimensions. The Bible likened the kingdom of God to a man who was going on a journey who gave talents to his servants according to their abilities. In today’s Bible reading, the representatives of the tribes of Isreal brought offerings to the tabernacle. They first brought oxens and wagons. The Lord asked Moses to take it from them and give to the Levites according to the service that they supported in the tabernacle. It is interesting to know that none of these were given to the Kohatites because according to the follow-on Bible text, the specific assignments that they had involved carrying the most holy things on their shoulder. This is a reminder to avoid unhealthy comparison. If you are in the assignment of the maker, rest assured that he has you covered and will make provision for the vision.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you own the cattle on the thousand hills. Thank you because you are our source and sustainer. Lord, give me the grace to trust you completely as you empower and bless me for your assignment in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
